Meet Paula

Background in Art

I am an English artist with a love for painting birds, animals and flowers.  I was born on a tea plantation in India.  I have worked as a freelance artist designing greeting cards and gift wrap for a studio in Ohio.  My work has been published in Salesian Mission, and a number of my works of art have been commissioned by various organizations locally, including the Cleveland Zoo.  My art is always influenced by my love of nature and  I am drawn to color from my childhood in India.  I am the author/illustrator of three children's books.

Do Foxes Eat Waffles?

The Author asks this question to Sarah the Squirrel; Ben the Bat; Ellie the Eagle; Hilda the Horse; Sherman the Sloth and lastly the Boy.

The Water Puddle

The Water Puddle is about a Scottie dog who discovers he must learn to swim , after being rescued by his friends an Elephant and a Goose, when a river overflows its banks during the Monsoon season in India.

Lola The Garden Center Cat

Lola the boy cat lives at a Garden Center.  All day long, Lola plays with his friends Mr. Chipmunk, Mrs. Raccoon, Mr. Mockingbird, Mr. Lizard, Mrs. Frog and Miss Rabbit.  Each night L.C., the owner of the Garden Center, calls Lola to come in but he can never be found.  The only thing that brings Lola running inside is when L.C. shakes his favorite box of cat treats.
